With the passing of Marrickville Council's motion on 14 December 2010 to support the Global BDS campaign against Israel, iwJAFA commissioned a survey of Marrickville LGA residents to understand their attitudes to the resolution.
The results showed that 63% of local residents were against the boycott. Only 29% were in favour.
